Virtual Property Viewings

The COVID-19 pandemic may have shut our doors for the time being, but we’d like to reassure you that the Hastings International team are still very much in action.

What’s the current situation?

In keeping with the government’s latest lockdown recommendations, all our estate agents are now operating safely from home. This means we are still carrying out our usual work and that we’ve developed a wide range of new approaches to ensure our services are still running smoothly.

Virtual property viewings

At present, you are not permitted to view a property in person for safety reasons. However, video technology means that you can ‘walk around’ the home you’re interested in, from the comfort of your own sofa.

Some of our sellers have created pre-recorded video walkthroughs of their properties, showing you exactly what the house or apartment looks like, room by room. Others are happy to conduct live video viewings, and will guide you through their house, moving into the areas that you’d like to view. This is also a great chance to ask them questions, and to get a real feel for the property.

Property appraisal via video

Whether you are thinking of selling or renting your property we are here to help and offer free no obligation virtual valuations. The good news is that we can do this without setting foot within your property. This valuable service gives you an idea of how much your house or apartment is worth in the current market.

The appraisal can be carried out via live video walkthrough, or a pre-recorded video, which you can send to our valuation team by email.

Alternatively, we can discuss your property over the phone. If you’re able to provide us with the details, we’ll be able to give you a precise idea of how much you’re likely to get for your home. We can even carry out appraisals via email.

If you’d like to arrange an appraisal, get in touch via our online contact form.

Getting the exposure that you need

We’re also still actively marketing properties on all the major online platforms. The latest data proves that plenty of people are still scouring the market, and we want to make sure your property enjoys good visibility online.

Staying ahead of the crowd

It’s likely that we’ll see a surge of interest (from buyers, sellers and tenants) once the lockdown is lifted. That’s why it’s a savvy move to start searching for property now, or taking the initial steps to get your home on the market – you’ll be one step ahead if you do.

We’re still experiencing a steady level of interest from tenants and home-buyers alike, which proves that there are plenty of people ready to move home, as soon as the coronavirus crisis is over.
